Pre-Christmas service

PRINCETON — A pre-Christmas Eve service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Princeton Bible Churchy. The area Bible churches from Wyanet, Walnut, Tiskilwa and Princeton will combine for worship and fellowship to celebrate Christmas, the birth of Jesus. For more information, call (815) 875-2933. The Princeton Bible Church is located 1 1/2 miles northeast of Princeton of Route 34. The public is invited to attend.

Alzheimer’s program

OTTAWA — A free program and discussion on the physical health of the brain and the role of memory will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Reddick Public Library, 1010 Canal street in Ottawa. To register for the program, call (309)681-1100 or (800) 272-3900. The program is made possible, in part, through the Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging.

Pancake breakfast

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will sponsor an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 28 at the club, 308 Howard St. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, ham, eggs, toast, orange juice, milk and coffee. Tickets are $5 for adults,  $3 for ages 6-10. Proceeds will go to the LaMoille High School junior class.

Christmas Eve service

WYANET — The United Methodist Church of Wyanet will hold its annual Christmas Eve program at 9 p.m. Wednesday. Special music will be provided. The public is invited to attend.
