Elwin and Eurith Goetz note 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Goetz of Arlington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on April 5.

Elwin Goetz and the former Eurith Fiste were married April 5, 1959, at St. John Lutheran “Church on the Hill” in Princeton by the late K.C. Meyer. Their attendants were Marrietta (Goetz) Anderson, Carolyn (Fiste) Barkley, Wayne Fiste and Carl Anderson.

They are the parents of two children, Craig (C.W.) Goetz of Arlington and Kyle (Delina) Goetz of Ladd. They also have three granddaughters, Hailey, Hope and Hanna.

Elwin is retired from farming and Eurith is retired, having worked at Malden High School and the Illinois Department of Human Services in Princeton and Granville.
