Jensens will note 50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Jensen of Prophetstown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

Stanley Jensen and the former Ethel Hartz were married April 18, 1959, in the Fairfield Lutheran Church in rural Tampico. They are the parents of three children, Pamela (Steven) Mendelson of Northbrook, Ellen (Roy) Andersen of South Elgin and Jack (Laurie) Jensen of Palmyra, Va. They also have six grandchildren, Jenna, Sarah and Lauren Mendelson, Erik Andersen, and Elizabeth and Nathan Jensen.

The family will celebrate their anniversary this summer with a vacation in Pennsylvania.
