At Spring Valley: Bureau Valley, who wasn’t on Hall’s schedule for Tuesday’s meet at Hall, showed up unexpectedly and stole the show, claiming top honors in the hexangular. BV took four firsts and eight  seconds en route to 148.5 points with the host Red Devils second at 91.

The Storm’s Cody Keyes won the 300 hurdles (45.85) and took second in the 110 highs. Ben Howes and Austin Peterson tied for first  in the high jump at 5-10, and Joe DeVenney won the shot put (44-4 1/2). Bureau Valley also won  the 4x800 relay (9:10.5) by six seconds over Hall and took seconds in the 4x400 (3:51.19) . Other Storm seconds came from  Nate DeVenney in the 1600 (5:06.53), Alex Franklin in the long jump (18-7), Adam Sanden in the triple jump (39-6) and Joe DeVenney in the discus (118-8).

Hall’s Scott Janusick won the 3200 (10:42.54), 18 seconds ahead of St. Bede’s Szymon Ligas and clipped teammates Anthony Urbanski and T.J. Mosbach  in the 800 with a first-place 2:20.76. Also for Hall, James Thompson won the 110  high hurdles (17.68), and Austin Pozzi won the long jump (18-9).

Princeton, which finished sixth with 65 points, clipped  the Storm in the 4x200 relay with a top time of 1:37.06. Ethan Kloster was second in the shot put (41-5 1/2).

Michael Massamba won the triple jump (41-1 1/2)  and was second in the 200 (23.81) for third-place St. Bede (89).
