Soccer sign-ups

PRINCETON — Final registration for the Princeton Youth Soccer League fall season will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Prouty Building. The PYSL summer camp will be held July 20-24. Registration forms will be available during fall sign-ups.

Football camps

BUREAU COUNTY — The 2009 prep football season is less than a month way. Two area schools will spend a week warming up for the first official practices with summer camps.

The Bureau Valley football camp will be from 6 to 8 p.m. July 20-24 with Tuesday’s activities taking place from 3 to 5 p.m. The Princeton High School football camp will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 20-24.

IVCC hosts endurance camp

OGLESBY — Illinois Valley Community College will offer a sports performance camp for children in grades 4-8 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 20-23 in the lower gym. This camp is designed to enhance speed, agility and quickness of athletes of all ages, offering ways to gain advantage over competition, directed by St. Bede Academy track and field coach Mike Skoflancspeed, flexibility and conditioning.

Cost of the camp is $45. Students may register on the first day of camp.
