On the street

What is your advice to graduating students?

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

I think it's a little late to start giving advice. Our graduates should have been receiving advice all along the way and building on the advice they've been given.

Harold Pierson of rural Princeton

My advice would be to never stop learning.

Kristen Rapp of Princeton

I would say to have a good work ethic. If they work hard and keep at it, then they will reach their goals.

Gary Wright of Princeton

My advice is to get a good education and to work hard to get the kind of job they want. You spend a lot of years working, and people should do something they like.

Arkie Grubb of Buda

Don't plan to start at the top. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Also, don't forget we live in a republic. People need to read and reread their constitution every week, if not daily.

Marge Steele of rural Dover
