Margaret Schneider

OHIO, Ill. — Margaret M. “Peg” Schneider, 90, of 26674 2200 East Street, Ohio, Ill., died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at her home.

Born May 11, 1919, in Ohio, Ill., to Frank and Rosetta (Hanson) Doran, she married Harold J. “Slim” Schneider Nov. 30, 1945, in Ohio, Ill. He died Sept. 15, 1985.

She was a life-long member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Ohio and the OCCW at the church.

Surviving are one daughter, Lynn (James) Cannon of Naperville; one son, David (Allison) Schneider of Edmond, Okla.; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, Ohio, Ill., with the Rev. Dan Wilder, pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ohio, Ill.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Garland Funeral Home, Walnut, where a prayer service will be at 4:30 p.m.
