Canal Days was a hoppin’ good time

Children attending the annual Canal Days event at the Hennepin Canal near Tiskilwa were again enthralled with some of the creatures that were found there, like this large frog. Event-goers enjoyed fishing, prizes, a scavenger hunt and food.The annual event is sponsored by the Tiskilwa Community Association and the Bureau County Republican.
