Car wash for Birdies for Charity donors

Zearing Child Enrichment Center board members, staff and students want everyone to know there will be a free car wash for anyone who participates in this year’s John Deere Golf Classic Birdies for Charity Program. Make a one-time flat donation or pledge 1 cent or more per birdie to receive your free car wash. The car wash will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 20, at Precision Auto Wash, 712 N. Main St., Princeton. With the birdie contribution, the ZCEC can offset costs in the purchase of playground equipment. One supporter of the Birdies of Charity program will win a 2009 Chevy Malibu Hybrid, similar to the one in the photograph. For information, call (815) 875-2335.
