Sandwich supper

OHIO — First Lutheran Church of Ohio will hold a sandwich supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Menu includes chicken and biscuits, barbecue, cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, pies, cakes and Sisler’s ice cream. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children 4 to 10. Carry-outs from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Vacation Bible School

PRINCETON — “Camp E.D.G.E.” is the theme for the Vacation Bible School scheduled for Sunday through Thursday at Evangelical Covenant Church, with leadership from the New Beginnings team of North Central College. The Vacation Bible School program offers an exciting week of learning about God’s love for all children entering kindergarten through the fifth grade. An optional meal will begin at 5:20 p.m. followed by Bible school from 5:45 to 8:15 p.m. The church is located at 24 N. Main St.

CDA pilgrimage

PERU — Catholic Daughters of the Americas will sponsor a pilgrimage to St. Hyacinth’s Basilica and the new sanctuary of Divine Mercy at St. Stanislaus Kosta Church on Oct. 7. The Rev. Harold Datzman will be the spiritual director of the trip. Vacation Bible School

PRINCETON — “The Kingdom of the Son Safari” Vacation Bible School will be held at Hampshire Colony Church, 604 S. Church St. from 9 a.m. to noon July 20-24. Children ages 3 through sixth grade are welcome to attend.
