Knee-high by Fourth

Laurie Bitting of Buda submitted this photo saying, “They say that the corn should be knee-high by the Fourth of July, and this field has far surpassed that.” The photo, taken June 29, shows Kurt, Tori, and Becca standing in a cornfield, just south of Buda, belonging to their Grandpa, Paul Grieve. Kurt is about 4 1/2 feet tall and the corn already towers over him.
