Adamson-Polson reunion
PRINCETON — The annual Adamson-Polson family reunion will be at noon July 12 at Zearing Park in Princeton. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, drink and table service. Coffee will be provided.

SPRING VALLEY — The Dominic O’Berto Post, American Legion, will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Cast announced
PRINCETON — The cast for “Urinetown the Musical” has been announced. The musical is a comedy where the poor people of the town riot against a rich businessman, Mr. Cladwell, who refuses them access to the restrooms. Meanwhile, Cladwell’s daughter, Hope, and the leader of the poor people, Bobby Strong, fall in love. Together the people fight for their freedom. This hilarious musical will be showing July 23-26 at the Prairie Arts Center in Princeton. More information regarding times and ticket pricing will be announced at a later date.
Major roles include: Jeff Kalina (Officer Lockstock the narrator), Tom Bailey (Bobby Strong), Rachel Gorenz (Hope Cladwell), Cheriz Kunkel (Little Sally), Jake Pearson (Mister Cladwell), and Adriana Ladage (Penelope Pennywise). Other cast members include: Steve Kwiatek, Matt Boehm, Zach Buckley, Brendan Coughlin, Marissa Switzer, Nic Kalina, Andrea Kurth, Dominic Passini, Allison Lampe, Allison Puetz, Nikki Kromphardt, Kenzie Bickett, Laura Wilson, Amalia Heiser, Marlee Wilde, Jennifer Fullerton, Sheila Ferguson, Abby Bickett, and Anson Murray.
Genealogy meeting
LASALLE — The LaSalle County Genealogy Guild will meet at 1 p.m. July 18 at the Guild Library, 115 W. Glover St. in Ottawa. Speaker will be Ron Bleumer of Granville. He will be speaking about his book on the Great Depression, “Brother Can You Spare a Dime?”
Adoption orientation
BLOOMINGTON — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Peoria will host an adoption orientation July 14 and 21 for anyone interested in adopting an infant through the agency’s domestic infant program. The orientation will begin at 6 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington. Registration is necessary and can be made by calling your local Catholic Charities adoption specialist or (309) 682-6258 no later than July 11.
Angel Food distribution
PRINCETON — Orders for Angel Food distribution for July at Victory Worship Center Church are due July 13 for distribution on July 25. Food stamps will be accepted. You may also order on-line at www.angelfoodministries.com. For information, call (815) 915-2155 between noon and 5 p.m.
