IVCC special meeting

OGLESBY — The Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 8 a.m. Aug. 3 in the board room to appoint a trustee to fill the vacancy left by the June 25 resignation of Paula Endress of Earlville.

After that meeting, the board's facilities committee will meet at 8:15 a.m. to discuss the proposed $30 million Community Technology Center project; options for temporary buildings no longer used by college programs; electricity purchasing; and, Protection, Health and Safety (PHS) projects for fiscal 2010 such as modifications to the Life Science lab, electricity upgrades and ADA modifications to restrooms.
