Golfers teeing up for Young Life
Eighteen golfers will tee up for the Bureau County Young Life Ministry on Sept. 25 at Wyaton Hills.
Young Life is sponsoring a golf marathon in which 17 golfers will play an all-day round of golf, soliciting sponsors for each hole of golf they play. Young Life director Buc Grey has lined up 15 golfers and is in need of three.
Golfers teeing up so far include Tom Bickett, Gregg Pearson, Justin Harris, Scott Smith, Gary Patterson, Tom Nelson, Tim Cyr, Todd Fanning, Denny Miller, Ken Musselman, Bill Kuhne, Marquis Grain, Norm Fermite, Justin Smith and Grey.
With such a draining schedule, it’s no wonder Grey asks Young Life supporters to “pray for strength and endurance as they play golf all day.”
Non-golfers may contribute by donating door prizes, monetary contributions, or gifts to Young Life. For more information or to register, call Grey at (815) 878-5874.
