Shelley Marie (Markley) Myers and Michael Steven Spratt, both of Lewistown, were united in marriage July 11 at the Canton First Baptist Church by Pastor Keith Jones.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and John Fanning of Lewistown, and Dwayne and Ann Markley of Moline. The groom is the son of Yvonne and Don McCulley of Victoria, Texas, and Steve and Sue Spratt of Sheffield.
The bride wore a satin “A” line halter with pearl beading at a gathered empire waist with a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of deep red roses with pearl accents. She also wore a one-tier veil with scattered pearls and rhinestones with corded edge and a rhinestone tiara.
Susan (Baldwin) Miller was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina (Oaks) Piper, Kelly (Steagall) Fisher, Nicole (Chasteen) Hardesty and Elizabeth (Dams) Dare. Carmyn Baldwin was the flower girl.
Jason “Bud” Stabler served as best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Dorrell, Greg Bennett, Bill Carl and Jake Green. Ushers were Darren Winkler, Jeff Braun and Larry Dutton.
Blain Myers and Jake Myers were ring bearers. They also gave the bride away.
After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Lewistown.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Lewistown Community High School. She is the corporate secretary and marketing director at Havana National Bank in Havana.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Western High School in Buda and a 1999 graduate of Western Illinois University. He is a physical education teacher at Lewistown Central School, where he coaches junior high track. He is also a LCHS football coach and LCHS girls basketball coach.
