Who found Citizens’ medallion?

Members of Citizens First National Bank’s Great Medallion Hunt Committee present the $1,000 Chamber gift certificate to this year’s medallion hunt winners, Rob and Gina Kleist, their son Kameron Kleist, and Gina’s brother, Eric Backes. After only about three hours of searching, the Kleist/Backes team found the medallion taped to the bottom of a trash can in a picnic area on the west side of Perry Memorial Hospital. Pictured from left are Lark Fisher, Citizens; winners Rob Kleist, Kameron Kleist, Gina Kleist and Eric Backes; and Carolyn Taylor, Joe Bates, Kathy Hermeyer and Ginger Freeberg, all of Citizens. As always, the medallion finders will ride in Saturday’s Homestead Festival Parade.
