Suzie Pinter
LOGAN, Iowa — Suzie A. Pinter, 61, of Logan, Iowa, formerly of Oglesby, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.
Born March 26, 1948, in Oglesby to Edward and Marie (Argubright) Towne, she married Jerry Pinter Nov. 22, 1980, in Peru. He survives.
She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Logan, Iowa.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cathy (Roger) Pesek of Omaha, Neb., and Renee (Troy) Donohue of Lincoln, Neb.; one son, Michael (Allison) Pinter of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Janet (Norman) Small and Marie (Edgar) Phillips, both of LaSalle; three brothers, Caleb (Marlene) Towne of Princeton, Jerry Towne of LaSalle and James (Sharon) Towne of Peru; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother-in-law, one niece and one nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Church, Cherry, with the Rev. Paul Meismer officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Cherry.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd. A wake service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday.
