SPRING VALLEY — The Hall High School 2008-09 yearbook staff is the recipient of the Showcase Award for Outstanding Achievement for their work in eDesign, a new on-line yearbook design program.
Staff members designed the pages of the yearbook uploading photos from the school network and then designing the yearbook page at school, or even at home through the Internet. This procedure was a cost reduction for the yearbook because, by using the Internet, there was no working with proofs and sending pages back and forth in the mail. There was also a faster turn round on the pages and the staff was able to have a colored supplement with the cost savings.
Congratulations were extended to yearbook advisor Deb Arreguin, editor Toni Colmone and staff members Nicole Kruse, Meaghan Hendricks, Kendra King, Kayleen Haslam, Katie Shipp, Kaitie Ries, Meghan Spencer, Kelsey Haslam, Christian Waggoner, Caity Nagel, Kayleigh Fusinatto, Lexi Grivetti, Claire Faletti, Liz Mosbach and Nikki Rybarczyk.
