Julie Yungerman of Janesville, Wis., and Steven Damon of Janesville, Wis., were united in marriage June 27 at River Hills Community Church in Janesville, Wis., by the Rev. John Swanson. Nuptial music was provided by Megan Meisberger, Becca Ofstie, Brent Mitchell, Carolyn Finley, Lorenzo Washington, Gary Hollingsworth and Ashlynn Mitchell.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Jo Yungerman of Janesville, Wis. The groom is the son of John and Mary Damon of Princeton.

The bride wore a one-piece, full skirt gown with corset closure. It had a ruched bodice, shoulder straps and an accented decal on the side front. The ball gown skirt was made with gathered tulle draped over delustered satin. She wore a crystal, glass beads and pearl tiara with a tulle veil with a blusher and glass beads sewn on the bottom. Her jewelry was glass beads and a freshwater pearls necklace and earrings. She carried white and yellow gerbera daises and yellow roses.

Natalie Villarreal, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Barbour and Jennifer Wondrash, friends of the bride. Sandy Yungerman, sister-in-law of the bride, was the bride’s personal attendant.

The attendants wore knee-length cornflower blue dresses and carried yellow and white gerbera daises.

Mark Damon, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Lafferty and Eric Goodman, friends of the groom. Erick Walters, Mike Hess and Dennis Butteris, friends of the couple, were ushers.

A reception was held at Threshman’s Park in Edgerton, Wis.

After a wedding trip to Mackinac Island, the couple is making their home in Janesville, Wis.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Joseph A. Craig High School and will receive her bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater in 2010.

The groom is 1995 graduate of Princeton High school. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1999 and a master’s degree in crop science in 2001, both from the University of Illinois. He is employed by Syngenta Seeds Inc. in Janesville, Wis.
