Breakfast planned

MANLIUS — The Bureau Valley High School After Prom Committee will sponsor a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 15 at the high school. Tickets are $4 for ages 13 and up, $2.50 for ages 6-12. Tickets will be available at the door. BV Sports Boosters clothing will be available for purchase during the breakfast.

Cookie sale

PRINCETON — The Perry Memorial Auxiliary will hold a cookie sale from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 in the north lobby of the hospital. Funds raised from the cookie sale will be used to purchase equipment for the hospital.

Red Hats event

PRINCETON — The Princeton Red hats will hold its Halloween slumber party at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge. Members are asked to bring a trick or treat.

Candy Cane House

PRINCETON — Candy Cane House, sponsored by the Perry Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7 in the north lobby of the hospital. Nuts, gifts, cookbooks and refreshments will be available. Funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for the hospital. A special lunch will be available in the hospital cafeteria.

Blood drive

PRINCETON — The First United Methodist Church of Princeton will sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at the church Fellowship Hall, 316 S. Church St. For an appointment, call the Red Cross office at  (815) 879-2231.

Book club meeting

PRINCETON — The Princeton Public Library Book Club will meet at 4 p.m. Nov. 12 in the community meeting room at the library. The group will discuss “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett. The staff at the library will be glad to assist anyone in borrowing this book. Anyone is invited to join the group, sponsored by Friends of Princeton Public Library, in discussing this book.

Pancake breakfast

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will serve an all-you-can eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, ham, eggs, toast, orange juice, milk and coffee. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10.
