Rain date set

ARLINGTON — Due to weather conditions which prohibited moving dirt to fill low areas, the fall clean-up day for Calvary Cemetery in Arlington has been rescheduled to 11 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers are asked to bring weed eaters, rakes, brooms, edgers, trimmers, shovels and garbage bags. Because of the nature of the work required, there is a special need for men and boys to participate. Sandwiches, snacks and beverages will be available throughout the afternoon for workers to tailgate.

Breakfast planned

MANLIUS — The Bureau Valley High School After Prom Committee will sponsor a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 15 at the high school. Tickets are $5 for ages 13 and up, $2.50 for ages 6-12. Tickets will be available at the door.

Dinner, bake sale

ARLINGTON — The annual fall dinner and bake sale at St. Patrick Church in Arlington will be from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in Bishop Franz Hall. Tickets are $8 for adults, $3 for ages 5-11.
