Easter Seals elects officers and directors

PRINCETON — Pete Mangold of Princeton was recently elected president of the board of directors of Easter Seals of LaSalle and Bureau Counties. Mangold, who is vice president of Parr Insurance, has served on the board of directors since September 2007.

At the same meeting, Drew Ferracuti was elected vice president, Craig Emmett was elected treasurer and Shelly Carey was elected secretary of the board. Ferracuti is an attorney in Ottawa with Drew Ferracuti Law Firm. Emmett is an accountant with William W. Peabody, P.C. and Carey is the advertising and marketing assistant manger with The Times.

At the same time, Jonathan Freeburg and Shannon Stevens were elected to their first terms on the board of directors. Freeburg is an attorney with Lloyd’s of London. Stevens recently became the chief trust officer of First National Bank of Ottawa.

Easter Seals of LaSalle and Bureau Counties have provided quality services to children and adults with and without disabilities since 1947. Services include developmental screening, developmental therapy, child care and preschool programs. In addition, Easter Seals’ Illinois Valley Autism Center is a one-stop center for information, resources, and referral services about autism spectrum disorders.
