DAR to meet Nov. 7
PRINCETON — The Princeton-Illinois Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Bureau County Republican Community Room, 800 Ace Road. The program “Native American Indian Flute Playing,” will be presented by Nancy Gillfillan of Putnam.
The Chapter will celebrate National American Indian Heritage Month in November. Members are reminded to bring non-perishable items for the food pantry. Diabetic items are needed. Hostesses are Sharon Murphy, chairman, Elizabeth Hauger, Judy Schwiderski, Karen Schwiderski, Rachel Starkey and Jean Watkins.
On Nov. 11 the Chapter will participate in the Veterans Day services and have a coffee time for veterans and guests at the American Legion Hall afterwards.
