Driving while suspended

Gabriel T. Grafton, 25, of Peru was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop at Route 29 and Route 89 at 9:05 a.m. Nov. 2.

Driving under the influence

Casey M. Carlson, 28, of LaSalle was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at the intersection of Dakota and Terry streets at 1:41 a.m. Oct. 29.

Accidents

A vehicle driven by Nancy M. Maltas, 52, of Spring Valley struck Eugene Jaraczewski, 65, of Spring Valley, who was in a wheelchair, as she backed out of her driveway in the 300 block of West Saint Paul Street at 12:28 p.m. Nov. 2. Jaraczewski was taken to St. Margaret’s Hospital by 10-33 Ambulance Service.

A vehicle driven by Richard H. Erley, 81, of Spring Valley struck a parked car belonging to Darrell W. Pack, 61, of Spring Valley in the 300 block of West Minnesota Street at 6 a.m. Nov. 2.

Vehicles driven by James A. Nagle, 59, of Princeton and Ramon R. Cardenas, 27, of Chicago were involved in an accident in the 200 block of East St. Paul Street at 3:24 p.m. Nov. 3.

Retail theft

Colt Faletti, 19, of LaSalle, Brianna N. Keef, 19, of Spring Valley and Robert J. Wolfe, 18, of LaSalle were all charged with retail theft following an investigation of theft of liquor from the Spring Valley Supermarket at 2:04 p.m. Oct. 24.
