Parade entries sought

SPRING VALLEY — Entries are being sought for the Lighted Santa Parade, which will take place in downtown Spring Valley at 7 p.m. Dec. 12. Organizations or individuals may enter. Lighted cars and trucks or decorated floats are acceptable. Entries without lights will not be admitted. (Head lights do not count.) In order not to confuse the children, there will only be one Santa, and he will be riding on the Boosters’ float. For safety, no items may be thrown into the crowd from the entries (i.e., candy, balloons, etc.).

Registration forms and a $5 donation must be turned in by Nov. 25. Trophies will be awarded for: SV Boosters Best; Best Parade Theme “Santa’s Helpers” and Most Lights.
