Jamie Diane Blaine and Chad James Mammen were united in marriage Oct. 18, 2008, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Maytown by Father David Vogel. The bride was given in marriage by her mother and brother.
The bride is the daughter of Diane Blaine of Maytown and the late Douglas Blaine. The groom is the son of David and Marcy Mammen of Mendota.
Jeremy Blaine, brother of the bride, was the man of honor, and Amy Jorgensen was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jodi Kelly and Jessica Blaine. Malori and Maci Kelly were flower girls. Linda Ely and Emily Vivian were personal attendants.
Andy Mammen, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Todd Friedlein and Mark Mutton.
A reception to honor the couple, hosted by Joseph and Patricia Dressendorfer, and Mark Joerger, was held at the Mendota Civic Center.
After a wedding trip to Ireland, the couple is making their home in Washington, Ill.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Amboy High School and a 2004 graduate of Monmouth College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both business administration and public relations. She is employed as a category manager at the Robert Borsch Tool Corp. in Peoria.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Mendota Township High School and a 2005 graduate of Northern Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as a design engineer by eServ in Peoria.
