PRINCETON — Again this year, the Princeton Elks Children’s Care Corporation will be bringing Santa Claus back to the Princeton area.

From Nov. 14 through Dec. 23, Santa will be available for personal visits to businesses, private homes, nursing homes, schools, holiday parties and etc.

All proceeds from Santa’s visits will be used to support local Elks Children’s Care projects. Four times throughout the year, Elks Children’s Care Corporation sponsors free orthopedic diagnostic clinics at Perry Memorial Hospital for those who do not have private health insurance. This service assists children with orthopedic problems up to age 21. This may include supplementary care, necessary therapy and orthopedic appliances. Financial assistance is also a possibility.

Last year, Santa visited with nearly 600 “children” of all ages during the holiday season. Santa’s local helpers, Roy and Marge Pierson, can be reached at (815) 872-8731 for scheduling and fee information.

Since its inception in 1868, the BPOE has dedicated and focused on activities that improve communities across the country with programs targeted towards America’s youth and veterans.
