Jaycees meeting
PRINCETON — The Princeton Jaycees will hold its monthly general membership meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lovejoy Room of the Prouty Building, 435 S. Main St. in Princeton. Individuals interested in learning about the Princeton Jaycees and the events coming up are encouraged and invited to attend. The Jaycees are a young person’s leadership training organization, and members are between the ages of 18 and 41. NAMI meeting
OTTAWA — The National Alliance on Mental Illness will hold its “Caring and Sharing” session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the North Central Behavioral Health Services Office, 727 Etna Road in Ottawa. Dr. Cynthia Ashley will speak about psychotherapy. All “Caring and Sharing” sessions are held at 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of the month. Pancake breakfast
LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 6-10. Proceeds will go to the sophomore class at LaMoille High School.
Madrigal dinner
PRINCETON — The Princeton High School Music Department will present “Make We Mirth”, a Madrigal dinner celebrating the holiday season at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton. Ticket reservation forms are available online at www.phs-il.org under madrigal dinner, in the PHS main office or from any Madrigal singer or cast member.
Auxiliary note
PRINCETON — The American Legion Auxiliary of Princeton is no longer accepting magazines of any kind at the legion post home due to storage issues. Area residents are encouraged to donate magazines to the local nursing homes.
Genealogical meeting
TOULON — The Henry and Stark County Genealogical Societies will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church in Toulon, 218 N. Henderson St. Dr. Julius P Bonello will speak on Civil War medicine. Guests are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
