BVHS senior Gracey Dale chosen as top artist

MANLIUS — Bureau Valley High School senior art student Gracey Dale’s chalk drawing was chosen from 400 entries to be one of 40 in the Illinois Art Education Traveling Student Art Show.
She was recognized along with the other winners recently at IAEA annual Fall Conference in Lisle.
Dale created her chalk drawing after studying the work of artist, Janet Fish.
The artwork concentrated on the patterns and shapes in glass as affected by the light and reflections around each bottle or container.
Dale’s drawing will be on display throughout the state of Illinois for a year.
