Emmerlings will note 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Terry (Marie) Emmerling of Spring Valley will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 4 p.m. Mass on Nov. 28 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. They will also be honored with an open house, hosted by their children, from noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 29 at Verucchi’s Ristorante in Spring Valley.

The couple was married Nov. 28, 1959, in St. Anthony Catholic Church by the Rev. Koloman Kassovic. Herman Emmerling, was best man and Patricia (Taliano) Terando was maid of honor.

They are the parents of three children, Sue, Julie and Terry. They also have eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Libbi, Jacob, Matthew, Adam, Noah and Zachary (deceased). and two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Ava.
