KENTLAND, Ind. — With nearly 30 years of seed sales, sales management and agri-input experience, AgVenture PureLine Seed’s new yield specialist Brad Forkner has taken on his new role with a passion. Forkner will provide year-round seed support to his AgVenture brand customers from his Lostant office. AgVenture PureLine is based in Princeton.

“Brad brings energy, intelligence and dedication to our Maximum Profit System’s efforts across north central Illinois,” said AgVenture PureLine’s Phil Kerkhoff. “We’re pleased to have his experience and applied knowledge available to our customers.”

Forkner is well-known in his community having served on the school board for 18 years and coached baseball for 15 years. He teaches an adult Sunday school class and sings in a gospel quartet. He has three grown sons and two grandchildren. Forkner has a degree in animal science and agronomy from University of Missouri.

“I know this area, its farmers and the land we farm very well,” Forkner said. “It’s a highly productive area that has been very bountiful to us over the years. Through MPS, we have the opportunity to hone our farming skills and manage even better to maximize the genetic potential of each and every seed we plant.”
