Seatonville Village Board
SEATONVILLE — The Seatonville Village Board took action on the following items at its meeting Nov. 9:
• Heard a request from Dan McLaughlin, owner of Seat-N-Fille Tap Inc., to have extended hours until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. After a discussion, the board decided no changes will be made to the hours at this time.
• Approved donations to the Hall Township Food Pantry for two Thanksgiving and two Christmas holiday food baskets, at a cost of $30 each.
• Received information about IDOT’s silent auction for used equipment, and classes and training offered by IDOT. The board also received information about North Central Illinois Works regarding their programs.
• Discussed the village’s wells and heard that Chamlin Engineering is getting estimates.
• Discussed funding from the stimulus plan; the Hollowayville meter pit; street repairs; correspondence from a resident; and resident water line installation.
• Approved the tax levy as presented.
• Discussed having a part-time employee on an as-needed basis for village work.
