How do you prepare a Thanksgiving turkey?

| Jefferson Elementary students in Princeton prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday with festive costumes and unique ideas on how to cook a Thanksgiving turkey. Editor’s note: The students in Susan Hale’s first-grade class at Jefferson Elementary School in Princeton took the opportunity to tell how they will cook their Thanksgiving turkey. Following are their responses, exactly as they were submitted to the Bureau County Republican.
Aryan: First you get a turkey. Then you take the fedrs off. They you trn on the uvin. Next you make the tepcher 25 degres. Last you cook the turkey to 28.
Abby: First I would go to walmart to get a turkey. Next I would onrap the plastic. Then I would put the turkey in the oven. Then I would eat the turkey.
Seth: First you hunt the turkey with a knife. Put it in a pan. Put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 40 degrees. Put it in the oven again. Cuti it up. Cut the bones out. Eat!
Chase: You get a turkey at Wal-Mart. You peel the wrappers off. Put it in the oven at 5 degrees for five minutes. Eat it.
Angel: You put it in the oven. You cook it for 20 minutes. You eat it.
Brice: You hunt for the turkey where wild turkeys live in the woods. Tear the beak off. Tear off the feet. You cook it 45 seconds in a very hot oven. Then you eat it.
Riley: First you by it. Then you wash it. Then you cook it. Then you eat it. Last you thro the bones away.
James: First you hunt the turkey. Than you put the turkey in uvin. 3 minits and don.
Brandon: First you kil it and then you take it home. Then you take the plastik off. Then you put it in the oven. Then you take the bones out. Last you eat it.
Hunter: First you hunt it. Then you take the feathrs off. You cook it. Then you eat it.
Aidan: You will biy it. Youi will tac the prapr off. You will tac the bons out. You will wash it. You will cook it for sevin mins. You will eat it.
Emma: First you biy a turkey. Tac out the bons. Then you put on the pan. Next you put in the ovin for one owr. Then tac it out. That’s how to cook a turkey!
Tyler: First you take the plastik off and cook 15 secis. Then cut. Next eat.
Kenley: First you cil the turkey. Then you bring it home. Then you put a can in its bhin. Next you put the turkey in the uvin. Wen it is dun you eat.
