Meeting set

PRINCETON — The Covered Bridge Quilters Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at the First Baptist Church, 1719 S. Euclid Ave. in Princeton. Guests are welcome to attend for a fee of $5. The feature program will be the Guild’s annual potluck dinner. Each Guild member is asked to bring a dish to share. There are no workshops scheduled for November and December. The next workshop is scheduled for Jan. 9. “How to Make a T-Shirt Memory Quilt,” presented by Corrie Guier from Wyanet, will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Farm Bureau Building. Book club meeting

PRINCETON — The Princeton Public Library Book Club will meet at 4 p.m. Dec. 10 in the community meeting room at the library. The group will discuss “The Street of a Thousand Blossoms” by Gail Tsukiyama. The staff at the library will be glad to assist anyone in borrowing this book. Anyone is invited to join the group, sponsored by Friends of Princeton Public Library, in discussing this book.

Breakfast planned

PRINCETON — A PMH retirees and former employees breakfast will be at 9 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Princeton Plaza Restaurant.

WYANET — The Wyanet Golden Eagles will meet at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Coffee Depot. Lunch is on your own. All Wyanet seniors age 50 or over are invited. Those planning to attend must R.S.V.P by Nov. 30 by calling (815) 699-7001.
