LAMOILLE — Confused about the changes to Medicare in 2010? LaMoille-Clarion Public Library will have a representative from the Social Security office at the library at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to explain the Medicare changes and answer any questions you may have. If you or a loved one have Medicare please plan to be here.
Also, a Christmas/winter story hour will be held at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19 in the children’s area. There will be stories, snacks, a craft and lots of fun!
PRINCETON — The Princeton Book Club will meet at 4 p.m. today, Thursday, at the Princeton Public Library to discuss “The Street of a Thousand Blossoms” by Gail Tsukiyama.
A preschool story hour will be held Tuesday with the theme of snow. The program will be held in the Youth Services Department, and preschool children and their parents or guardians are welcome to attend.
Youth Services will have Christmas Crafts from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, and the library board will meet at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
Youth Services will have another Christmas crafts session from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Dec. 17.
WYANET — Raymond A. Sapp Memorial Township Library’s 2nd Thursday@the Library program will be at 6:30 p.m. today, Thursday. Adrian Lind from Walnut House will explain how to keep holiday arrangements fresh, different flower types and colors and how to make a memory wreath. For those interested in participating, Lind will help all to make a Christmas bow. Come on out and get wrapped up in Flowers and Bows. As always, delectable refreshments will be served.
Younger readers are invited to come to the library between now and Christmas and design their own bookmark. We supply the materials, your child supplies the imagination. Also for each book they have read, they can add a ring to our Christmas Tree chain.
LADD — The Ladd Public Library has preschool storyhours at 10:30 a.m. the first and third Monday of each month.
The selection for the book club for next month is “The Gift” by Richard Paul Evans. Anyone wishing to join may contact the library for details.
MINERAL — The Book Discussion at the Mineral Gold Library will meet on Tuesdays from 2 to 3 p.m. Contact the library for more information.
PERU — Ed Krolak and the Peru Public Library cordially invite the public to attend a series of readings of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens.
