Pool tournament

KEWANEE — The Kathy Kouris Memorial Pool Tournament will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Linebackers Sports Bar in Kewanee. Entry fee is $10 per person. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. This will be a handicap tournament. For early sign-up, call the league office at (309) 540-9750.

Meeting planned

MANLIUS — The Manlius Fire Department will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at the fire house. Oyster stew and chili will be served. Justin Doty and Jeremy Roush will be the lunch committee.

Meeting set

WYANET — The Wyanet Golden Eagles will meet at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 5 at Main Street BBQ. Lunch is on your own and Wyanet Eagles will pay for dessert. All Wyanet seniors, age 50 or over, are welcome. The group held its December meeting at the Coffee Depot in Wyanet with 12 members and one guest, Anna Mae Bright, present.

Blood drive

PRINCETON — An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 7 in the First United Church Fellowship Hall, 316 S. Church St. in Princeton. For an appointment, call the Princeton Red Cross office at (815) 879-2231.
