Marion Tarrance
CRYSTAL LAKE — Marion Gay Tarrance, 83, of Crystal Lake died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Crystal Lake.
Born Feb. 18, 1926, in La Porte, Ind., to Jessie Stuck and Hazel (Hammerback) Stuck, she married Robert Tarrance Jr. May 18, 1946, in Hegewisch, Ill. He died Sept. 4, 1995.
She attended Bowen High School in Chicago. She and her husband moved to Princeton in 1987. She was a life-long homemaker.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy (Jim) Bailey of Morris and Jackie (Doug) Moore of Island Lake; four grandchildren, Rachel (Eric) Rumschlag of Indianapolis, Kevin Popma of Bollingbrook, Rory Bigelow of Palatine and Jessica Bailey of Morris; one great-grandchild, August Rumschlag at home; one brother-in-law, Harold (Arlene) Tarrance of Florida; and one niece and one nephew.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Summers Chapel at Oakland Cemetery, Princeton, with the Rev. Jeffery Chubb officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be private.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
