PRINCETON — Mel Foster Co. of the Quad Cities has announced Tom Hall of Princeton has joined their real estate firm.
“Mel Foster Co. is committed to providing the highest level of personalized and professional service. They have a proven record of success, and I am excited to become a part of their team,” Hall said.
Hall graduated from Princeton High School and holds two bachelor of arts degrees from Western Illinois University. He worked as a commercial casualty underwriter for Transamerica Insurance and then started his lending career at a local bank. He formed Simplicity Mortgage with two partners. Before selling the business, it grew to encompass more than 200 employees in 10 states. Most recently, Hall was a partner in Global State Mortgage in Princeton. Throughout his career, he has been active in numerous local service clubs, the Homestead Festival and served on the Princeton Elementary School Board for eight years. Hall and his wife, Becky, have two grown children.
“Tom is a valuable member of our newly-opened branch office in Princeton, located at 306 Backbone Road East, and will be focusing on residential as well as commercial real estate in Princeton and the communities in the surrounding area,” said Mary Jo Gibson-Slutts, managing broker of the Princeton branch office. “With Tom’s drive, determination and extensive experience, I believe that he will be a great asset to our sales staff.”
