Tuesday night hoops

PERU - The St. Bede basketball teams defended the homecourt by sweeping both ends of a girls-boys doubleheader over neighboring Hall High School Tuesday at the Academy.

The Lady Bruins kicked off the night, holding off the Lady Devils in a 34-33 nail-biter.

In the nightcap, the Bruins prevailed 64-54.
