Wedding and Celebrations Expo is March 14

PRINCETON — The Bureau County Republican and Bureau County Metro Center will present their second annual Weddings and Celebrations Expo.

The Expo will be March 14 at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for vendor viewing. A fashion show featuring formal gowns from Hope’s Bridals of Davenport (as featured on “Paula Sands Live”), and tuxedos from Seno’s will be at 1:30 p.m. Vacation and party attire will also be featured. Fashion show seating will be limited. Early registered brides will be given the first-come, first-seated opportunity.

Two grand prize wedding/honeymoon packages, valued at $1,000 each, will be given away. Grand prize packages include luggage, accommodations at Starved Rock Lodge or Grand Bear Lodge, wine with wine flutes, and vendor gifts and gift certificates. Many gift baskets valued at $250 each will also be given away.

Brides must visit all vendor booths to qualify for prizes and must be present to win. All prizes will be drawn at the closing of the Expo at 2:30 p.m.

Major sponsors include Hope’s Bridals, Seno’s, Bureau County Metro Center, Sophisticuts Salon and Day Spa, Wise Guys DJ & Karaoke, Pickett Fences, Starved Rock Lodge, Grand Bear Lodge, Wise Guys Bar & Grille, Kramer’s Catering and Flowers by Julia. Additionally, more than 35 vendors will be available for consultation.

Admission is free. Lunch and beverages will be available for purchase.
