Drug dog demonstration

Trooper Jeffrey Nichols of District 17 of the Illinois State Police in LaSalle shows how hard his dog, Qundo, can hold onto anything during a canine demonstration Friday at Allen Junior High School in LaMoille. Nichols said his 2 1/2-year-old German Shepherd from Holland not only finds drugs, but is also trained to find articles, missing people or fugitives hiding from law enforcement personnel.
