Soccer sign-ups
PRINCETON — The final registration date for the Princeton Youth Soccer spring season will be held at the Prouty Building from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Registration info can be found by going to www.pyslsoccer.freehomepage.com and clicking on the spring 2010 registration tab. This spring’s season will run from April 5 through May 15.
Henry Decoy Show
HENRY — The Henry Decoy Show will be held Sunday memory of Don Clark, who passed away Dec. 16, 2009 and was the originator and the heart and soul of the decoy show since its conception in1968. His presence and influence will be missed by the many collectors and exhibitors who will be in attendance at the show.
As always, antique duck decoys, game calls and related collectibles from area and out of state collectors, carvers and artists will be on display and for sale. The show will be held at Henry-Senachwine High School on Rt. 29 in Henry from 8 a.m. to 2 pm. Admission for adults is $5. There is no charge for children under 12.

Church Volleyball League
PRINCETON — The Princeton Park District’s Church Volleyball League will begin Feb. 13, with games played at 4 p.m. each Saturday at the Metro Center.
Roster forms should be returned to the Met as soon as possible in order for a church’s team to be placed on the schedule. Schedule of games will be available Feb. 10.

IVCC Softball clinic
OGLESBY — The IVCC softball team will hold its 11th Annual Softball Clinic on
Feb. 13-14 in the IVCC gymnasium. The clinic is open to students from second through eighth grade. Participants will receive five hours of instruction from IVCC coaches and
players in hitting, bunting, fielding, throwing, base running and
communication.
The Feb. 13 session is from 8 to 10:30 a.m. for grades 2-4 and 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for grades 5-8. The Feb.14 clinic will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for grades 2-4 and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for grades 5-8.
All players should have tennis shoes, a glove and comfortable clothes. A player may bring her own bat and/or helmet, however, it is requested that these items be marked with the player’s name.
The cost of the clinic is $30 and every participant will receive a clinic T-shirt. To register, contact IVCC coach Cory Tomasson at (815) 224-0509 or Sue Harding at (815) 224-0472. Players should arrive 30 minutes early on the first clinic day to finalize registration and receive their T-shirt.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — North American Youth Sports will hold its annual spring basketball tournament for grades 5-12 in the Quad Cities on March 19-21. Entry fee is $100 and guarantees two games.
