Breakfast in Buda

BUDA — The Buda Fire Department will have an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Buda Community Hall. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children.

Spaghetti dinner

PRINCETON — Orchard View Rehabilitation and Health Care will hold a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. March 9. Tickets are $5 each and dinner includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and drinks. Carryouts are welcome. Tickets are available at Orchard View and the Bureau County Senior Center. Proceeds from the dinner will go to the Bureau County Senior Center. For more information, call Orchard View at (815) 875-1196.

Foreign Language Fair

MANLIUS — Bureau Valley High School will host hosts its annual Foreign Language Fair on Thursday in the commons area of the high school. Mexican and German food buffets will be available from 5 to 7 p.m., and entertainment will include salsa dancing, a maypole dance, songs, skits and a craft fair. Meals start at $4, and carryouts are available. Admission is $1 for adults; children are free.

Special preview

PRINCETON — Princeton Public Library has changed its gala event for the “From Both Sids” art exhibit to a special preview event set for 7 to 9 p.m. today, Saturday, at the library. The exhibit of local artists and art collectors will begin Monday and extend through March 22. Art collectors, patrons, students, galleries and artists have loaned their talent and treasures for all to enjoy. Also included with the exhibit will be movies, lectures, demonstrations and children’s programming.

Youth dance

PRINCETON — The next youth dance for eighth-graders and younger will be from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. March 6 at the Princeton Moose Lodge. Admission is $4.

Book donations

PRINCETON — Donations of books are being accepted for the Friends of the Princeton Library 2010 used book sale, April 15-18 at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton. Books, hardcover and paperbacks, are accepted throughout the year as well as DVDs, CDs, videos, puzzles and games. Textbooks, magazines and encyclopedias cannot be accepted.
