Deer accidents

Kirk L. Haring, 39, of Princeton was traveling at 6:02 p.m. Feb. 27 on Route 40, two-tenths mile south of Interstate 80, when his vehicle hit a deer.

Brandon T. Bickett, 29, of Ladd was traveling at 10 p.m. Feb. 27 on Route 6, one-half mile west of Interstate 180, when his vehicle hit a deer.

Jeremiah C. Moore, 23, of Tiskilwa was traveling at 6:01 p.m. Feb. 24 on 2050 East Street, at the intersection with 1100 North Avenue, when his vehicle hit a deer.

LeRoy E. Wirth, 78, of Sheffield was traveling at 5:30 a.m. Feb. 23 on Route 6, one mile west of 500 East Street, when his vehicle hit a deer.

Taran C. M. Geldean, 17, of Walnut was involved in an accident at 11 p.m. Feb. 28 on 1100 East Street, one-half mile north of 2650 North Avenue, after losing control of her vehicle when swerving to avoid deer in the road.

Accidents

Georgene Kirschbaum, 57, of LaSalle, and Joan L. Lorenzi, 59, of Ladd were involved in an accident at 6:56 p.m. Feb. 26 at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Route 89.

Mandy Lee Beebe, 36, of Spring Valley was traveling at 12:29 a.m. Feb. 24 in Ladd when her vehicle hit vehicles owned by Elaine Foster of Ladd and Gary Grasser of McNabb. Beebe was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Amy J. Lester, 25, of Spring Valley, and Richard P. Miller, 57, of Dixon were involved in an accident at 6:01 p.m. Feb. 25 on Route 29, at the intersection with 700 North Avenue. Lester was ticketed for failure to yield. Laurie Bartkus, owner of the vehicle driven by Lester, was ticketed for not having insurance on the vehicle.

Pamela K. Wroblewski, no age given, of Wyanet was involved in an accident at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 at the intersection of Backbone Road and 1750 North Avenue.

Criminal trespass

Timothy L. Philhower, 18, of Sheffield was charged with criminal trespass to land following an incident at 3:29 p.m. Feb. 25 in Sheffield.

DUI arrests

Daniel J. Hansen, 25, of Princeton was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, and illegal parking following an incident at 5:46 a.m. Feb. 27 on the Tiskilwa Bottom Road, one-tenth mile west of Route 29.
