Sharon Jackson

PRINCETON — Sharon Jackson, 69, of Princeton died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at the LaSalle Healthcare Center.

Born Dec. 23, 1940, in Tiskilwa to Lloyd Jones and Ruby (Taylor) Jones, she married Robert E. Jackson in 1956. He died in 1963.

She worked at Hub's Grill, the Underground Inn, Rudy Patrick Seed Co. and Nickolin's in Hennepin.

Surviving are her life-partner and companion of 35 years, Clifton Barker of Princeton; two children, Robert E. (Karen LaTulip) Jackson of Walden, Colo., and Cheri Jackson of Covington, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Bobbi Jean, Jake and Megan.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

All services will be private.

The Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton is assisting with arrangements.
