IVCC to host Kish

OGLESBY — The Illinois Valley Community College women’s basketball team will play Kishwaukee at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Division II Region IV championship at IVCC.

IVCC, 26-5 and ranked 11th in the National Junior College Athletic Association poll, lost at Kishwaukee Jan. 14 before beating the Kougars at home Feb. 9. IVCC advanced to its second straight Region championship with a 83-59 win over Waubonsee; Kish advanced with a 70-61 win over Black Hawk.

PRINCETON — Registration for the Princeton Youth Baseball and Softball League will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Prouty Building. Other sign-up dates include March 13 and 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and March 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. Registration forms are available on the league’s Web site at www.eteamz.com/Prince-tonBaseballandSoftball.

IVVP tryouts

OGLESBY — Illinois Valley Volley Power (IVVP) will be holding 12U and 14U registration and Tryouts Sunday at the IVCC upper gym.
