Standing water creeps across a country road Sunday afternoon between Princeton and Wyanet. The Bureau County area received nearly two inches of rain during the weekend, according to Anthony Peoples, meteorologist with WQAD News 8.Though the rest of the work week looks to be fairly dry, another major storm system could hit the Bureau County area by the weekend, bringing with it the possibility of snow, Peoples said.
