Freeman-Taylor

Kenneth and Gale Freeman Jr. of Tulsa, Okla., and Barbara Hughes and John Taylor of Urbana are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Kristin Freeman and Colin Taylor.

The bride-elect received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute and a master’s degree in art management from Columbia College in Chicago. She is a collections manager at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago.

Her fiancé received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the director of environmental education at Friends of the Park in Chicago.

The couple will be married Nov. 13 in the Stan Mansion, in Logan Square, in Chicago.
