Princeton Elementary School Board

PRINCETON — The Princeton Elementary School Board conducted the following business at its Aug. 23 meeting in the media center at Logan Junior High:

• Appointed J.P. Aley as a new board member to replace board member Paul Stephens who has moved from the area.

• Approved the call back of Bright Beginnings staff members Janet Becker, Barb Metzger, Lynne Ferrell, Marcia Caldwell, Erica Blessman, Nicole Deutscher, Shelley Colton, Jane Yarrington, Jodi McMillan and Holly Wright.

• Accepted the resignations of Joyce Tournear, as secretary in the Bright Beginnings program, and Amanda Angelo, special education aide at Logan Junior High;

• Approved the hiring of Laura Gray, part-time language arts teacher at Logan Junior High; Susan Dietz, part-time Bright Beginnings teacher; Sara Edlefson, full-time Bright Beginnings teacher; Jodee Zelenik, part-time secretary for Bright Beginnings; Julie Grady, special education aide at Logan; and Pam Nelson, accompanist for Logan Junior High choir.

• Approved an eight-week leave of absence for Marcia Caldwell.

• Adopted the Fiscal Year 2011 tentative budget and set the budget hearing for 6:45 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Logan Junior High media center.
