IVADA meets in Princeton
PRINCETON — Illinois Valley Activity Directors’ Association held a luncheon meeting Jan. 9 at Greenfield Retirement Home.
After the secretary’s and treasurer’s report, the group heard Secretary Jackie Latsch report that the IVADA Facebook site can now be viewed by members. Treasurer Jolene Kulpa discussed changes to the bylaws.
Members voted to continue monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month in order to offer continuing education hours and welcome any new members to the group.
The topic for the day was “Brainstorming IVADA’s Future/Sharing What Works for You.” Chris Thompson demonstrated a flower loom craft project and all members shared ideas about games, entertainment, monthly calendars and fundraising events.
The next meeting has been set for Feb. 13. The location will be announced later.
